The Outpatient Infusion Center’s patient friendly environment is comprised of 14 reclining chairs. Pillows, blankets, snacks and televisions are available for our patients during their treatments. Patients are provided headphones for television viewing. Lunch boxes are offered for treatments lasting 2 hours or more. SCOPE OF INFUSION SERVICES The Outpatient Infusion Center offers a variety of therapy services for adults. INFUSION AND INJECTION THERAPIES: (some medications require a wait for medication preparation) – Biotherapy administration – Immune globulin administration (IVIG) – Transfusion of blood and/or blood products – Antibiotic therapy – Chemotherapy – Hydration therapy – Iron therapy – Intravenous bisphosphonates – Administration of erythropoiesis and granulocyte stimulating and anticoagulant agents CENTRAL LINE MAINTENANCE: – Central Venous Lines – PICC Lines – implanted ports – PICC Ports OTHER TREATMENTS: – Lab draws – Therapeutic phlebotomy
