Salem Rheumatology and Infusions

At Salem Rheumatology & Infusions, we are happy to administer IV biologic therapy for our patients. Our infusion center administer medications to treat autoimmune diseases, as well as other medications for outside specialties. We do not administer antibiotics or cancer chemotherapy medications Our nurses are very experienced with the administration of our drugs, clinical indications, and expected clinical effects. At our center, we preform pre-infusion screening at every visit to make sure there are no contraindications to medication administration. This allows for better patient observation for side effects of their disease or therapy. Our nurses monitor our patients continually during their infusions and are experienced in treating medication reactions if they occur. Our on site rheumatologists are always present during infusion hours and are available immediately if needed for any infusion questions or infusion reaction treatment.
